Today is my first official snow day as a teacher. Guess what? It is just as fun as having a snow day when you’re a student.
We are supposed to get about four inches today–not too shabby for Southeast Missouri.
I was mostly excited not because it meant I didn’t have to teach but because it meant I could spend the day at home with my precious ones.
I don’t think it was even 9 a.m. before we were out playing in the snow. The boys, it seemed, couldn’t get out there fast enough.
Then, once we were out there for a few minutes, and they started to get wet, they couldn’t get back inside quickly enough.Sometimes (always?) it is hard keeping up with the demands of a four year-old and a two year-old.
I am a little out of practice with being at home, alone, full-time with these guys. Today is the second day this week that we’ve had at home together. I’ve heard a rumor that there may be a third …
A gift, sure. But I’m also wondering, is it naptime yet?
Aw. How could I not love these faces?? I’m so happy we get to spend this time together.
Hot chocolate here we come!

Heather that is such a good story. Just wait that will change when they get older they will stay out even if they get wet from the snow for they will love it. I bet they loved the hot chocolate to warm themselves up.
